Trainee Paraplanner / Paraplanner Vacancy

MFP Wealth Management is a small family-run firm of Chartered Financial Planners that helps people retire successfully. We specialise in retirement and pension planning for successful individuals and their families, helping them build a life they love and fund it with confidence. 

We are seeking a paraplanner to join our team of three in our office in Mudeford, Christchurch on either a full-time or part-time basis.

So whether you are an experienced IFA administrator, hold a relevant degree and are keen to get into the world of financial planning, or are already paraplanning, we have a flexible role that might suit you.

About the Role

You will play a key role in supporting the financial planner in shaping client proposals by (subject to experience and over time) conducting analysis and tax calculations, building cash flow forecasts, and writing recommendation reports.

You will collaborate closely with clients and providers alike to manage the entire client journey from initial enquiry through to regular progress meetings, including preparing and processing relevant documentation.

You will also manage general office admin, support wider business and marketing projects, and help drive the continual improvement of our processes.

About You

You have either:

• proven experience in an IFA or wealth management office or

• be committed to pursuing a career in financial planning.

With excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and superb communication skills, you thrive on managing a variety of responsibilities. Your high levels of computer literacy mean you are comfortable using the latest technology and software.

You are comfortable in a small, supportive team and confident working on your own at times.

Your positive attitude and willingness to study and develop professionally enable you to achieve your paraplanning qualifications in time.

• A full-time or part-time position (spread evenly from Monday to Friday), based in our offices in Mudeford, Christchurch.
