The Role

We are looking for a creative, tech-savvy Digital Media & Marketing Executive to join our team at MFP Wealth Management in Mudeford, Dorset.

This is a hands-on role supporting our YouTube channel, podcast, website, social media content and wider digital marketing activity. It would suit a graduate, current student or gap-year student with strong creative and technical skills who is looking to gain meaningful, real-world experience.

The role combines video and podcast production, website content management and digital marketing support. While editing skills are important, we are also looking for someone who can bring ideas, take ownership and help us continue to grow our audience and brand presence.

This is not a shadowing role or a token internship. You will contribute to content that is actively consumed by thousands of people and will have the opportunity to build a portfolio that demonstrates real-world impact, audience growth and professional-quality work.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is naturally creative, technically confident and comfortable working across a range of digital platforms.

You will be confident editing video and audio content, have excellent written English and strong attention to detail. You will enjoy improving content, not just completing edits, and will be interested in how storytelling, structure, thumbnails, titles and distribution all contribute to audience growth.

You should be proactive, organised and able to work independently. Part of the role will involve helping us implement and manage digital marketing and content platforms, so we are looking for someone who enjoys figuring things out, researching solutions online and getting new tools up and running without needing constant guidance.

You will also be curious about AI, automation and emerging digital tools, and confident using them intelligently to improve workflow, productivity and content output.

Key Responsibilities

As our Digital Media & Marketing Executive, you will support:

Video and Podcast Production

• Edit long-form and short-form video content using Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent software.

• Edit podcast audio and prepare episodes for publication.

• Enhance content with graphics, titles, thumbnails and stronger storytelling techniques.

• Support the continued growth of our YouTube channel and wider digital audience.

• Work with content filmed in-house using our professional studio setup and established production workflows.

Website and Content Management

• Update and maintain our Squarespace website.

• Publish and format written content.

• Support SEO, content organisation and website presentation.

• Help ensure digital content is accurate, engaging and aligned with the MFP brand.

Digital Marketing

• Assist with the setup and management of marketing and content platforms.

• Help develop ideas to improve audience reach and engagement.

• Use AI tools intelligently to improve workflow and productivity.

• Schedule and optimise content across social media platforms.

• Support CRM and email-based marketing campaigns.

• Contribute ideas to improve our digital systems, content processes and audience experience.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone with:

• A degree, current study or relevant experience in media production, digital marketing, communications or a related field.

• Strong video editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software.

• Excellent written English and attention to detail.

• The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

• A creative mindset and an interest in improving content, not just executing edits.

• Confidence using AI tools and curiosity about applying them effectively.

• Strong technology skills and confidence navigating online platforms.

• The ability to learn unfamiliar software independently.

• A proactive approach to troubleshooting and finding solutions.

• Confidence setting up and managing new digital or marketing systems.

• An interest in AI, automation and emerging digital tools.

• Good organisation skills and a willingness to improve workflows and processes.

Desirable Skills

Training can be provided, but it would be helpful if you also have experience with:

• Squarespace or similar website platforms.

• CRM or email marketing systems.

• Basic motion graphics.

• Thumbnail design.

• Title animation.

No prior experience with Ecamm, KEAP or Elevate is required. We will provide training on our internal workflow and systems.

The Opportunity

The role starts at National Minimum Wage for an initial trial period, with the opportunity to increase for the right person.

What we want to be clear about is the opportunity. You will work directly with a Chartered Financial Planner, podcaster and public speaker on a real platform with an established audience and meaningful reach.

You will be involved in creating and publishing content across YouTube, the podcast, website and social media channels, with genuine responsibility from day one.

You will also be involved in setting up new broadcast platforms and marketing funnels to reach a wider audience.

A Mac and professional creative tools will be provided, including Adobe Creative Suite and access to a professional broadcast setup.

Working Pattern

This is an office-based role in Mudeford, Dorset.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–2pm. The role is offered on a Zero Hours Contract basis, with a minimum three-month placement preferred.
