Justin King

Justin King founded MFP Wealth Management after 20 years in the financial services industry.

As an accredited Chartered Financial Planner and Certified Financial Planner, Justin has achieved the highest accolades in financial planning and finds himself at the top of his profession, both academically and practically qualified to provide a comprehensive Financial Planning and Wealth Management service at the highest level.

In 2010 Justin became the first financial planner in Dorset and Hampshire to achieve the accolade of being a Registered Life Planner© (RLP) after studying with The Kinder Institute of Life Planning. This means he delivers financial advice differently to most advisers, putting your goals and dreams at the heart of any financial recommendation.

Justin is genuinely passionate about helping people realise their dreams and about financial planning.  He is regularly quoted in the press and was announced as runner up in Unbiased.co.uk’s ‘Best Media Newcomer’ award 2012.

This passion led Justin to become one of nine independent financial advisers who are setting up a new financial education charity called the Financial Life Planning Foundation.  The plan is to help the wider general public identify what’s truly important to them in their lives by offering financial life planning advice for free in workshops around the country.

He has also volunteered to share his expertise in personal finance and budgeting with local school children in Christchurch as part of the newly launched One Community: Prevention, Intervention, and Direction programme from Young Enterprise.

Justin has been an enthusiastic volunteer member of the RNLI Mudeford Lifeboat crew for ten years and enjoys teaching and partaking in sailing, having successfully completed the 2009 FastNet race. When not working, sailing or helping out on the lifeboat, he spends time with his partner and their two daughters who joined the family in May 2009 and July 2011.
